A delegation including Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry & Tourism Mr Yiorgos Lakkotrypis and the High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus to the UK Mr Euripides L. Evriviades – gave a comprehensive and thought provoking presentation to over 70 business leaders who attended the event.
The Cyprus-UK Business Forum, which was the first of its kind in Scotland, was held in The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh on Thursday 10 November.
Mr Lakkotrypis, who was the keynote speaker of the event, presented the significant opportunities that now exist, providing in-depth, and set out, investment opportunities and the advantages of Cyprus for a wide range of business sectors.
The Cyprus-UK Business Forum in Edinburgh was organised by the Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry & Tourism and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, supported by the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency, the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Cyprus-UK Business Association, COBCOE, the Enterprise Europe Network and the European Commission.
